Za vrijeme boravka u šumi, Rama se jednom naslonio glavu na krilo Sugriva,a vođe majmuna su Ga okruživale. Mjesec je sjao iznad glava u punom sjaju, no tu je bila tu tamna točka koja je narušavala puninu sjaja. Rama upita svakog od njih što ta točka znači. Svaki je dao drugačije objašnjenje. Odraz mora, reče jedan, duboka jama, reče drugi, planinski lanac, reče treći. Došao je red na Hanumana – On reče, “To je Tvoj odraz što ja vidim na mjesecu, Tvoja boja, ništa drugo!” To je bio jednostavan primjer njegove odanosti. Svugdje, u svakom trenutku, u svakoj osobi, on je jedino vidio Gospoda Ramu. Sve svoje zadatke morate posvetiti kao žrtvu Gospodu. Nikada ne odstupajte od tog stava. Hanuman je bio takav poklonik; Rama je bio njegov životni dah.

I know that I AM God, if I know I AM the Light, then I say to any human limiting appearance, "Stop. You are the dream. I Am awake. You are not real. You have no authority. There is no time/space continuum. It is over,

　I　AM now baptized with the Holy Flame of Resurrection. The world is waiting for me. I go forth as Christ. I start with my own world. I want a youthful body – I now dream it, I visualize it, I see it, and I know that aging -- that everything that is temporary, everything that is the human dream can be undone in a moment and it but requires my authority. And I AM given three years to completely undo every human limitation in my life. I crave my freedom from everything human forever. And I go out in life now and experience all the wonders and the beauties of life. I was not brought to this world to deny the world; I AM here to teach the world to do everything in a state of Love. Kako nadvladati tri sile prirode – Tri gune materijalne prirode

...iznad vremena, prostora i okolnosti, do mjesta na kojem je um smiren a ego nestaje.

Pojam guna se ne odnosi samo na tri svojstva prirode, već jednako tako i na odgovarajuća tri prateća stava uma koji oblikuju sve ljudsko ponašanje. Cjelokupni se život razvija iz različitih moći triju sila prirode: čistoća, svjetlost, smirenost – sattva; strast, djelovanje – rajas i neznanje, tama, inertnost – tamas. Svatko ima sve tri sile u sebi u različitim omjerima i odražavat će način ponašanja koji je u skladu s osobinom koja prevladava. Guna znači i isprepletenost (doslovno). Gune su sile koje se isprepliću kako bi oblikovale snažan konopac koji veže Sebstvo, atmana, Dušu, za svjetovno tijelo, pa tako i za život, smrt i ponovno rođenje. Cilj života je preoblikovati karakter pojedinca u traženju višeg ideala – promijeniti ga od neznanja i lijenosti (tamas) do strastvenog nastojanja (rajas), a nakon toga usmjeriti ga u smirenost i uravnoteženost (sattva). Tijekom dana sve tri osobine poput plime i oseke struje u svakom čovjeku. Čovjek bi trebao znati koja osobina u njemu prevladava. Kada se pojavi uravnoteženost, čini se kao da svjetlost istinskog Sebstva zasvijetli kroz sva tvoja vrata, tj. osjetila. Tvoj vid postaje oštriji, sluh bolji, mišljenje i djelovanje odmjerenije, savjesnije. Kad prevladava osobina nemira u tvojoj osobnosti, kao da nestrpljenje, pohlepa i težnja izviru na površinu, kao da te tvoj vlastiti nemir prisiljava na djelovanje. Kad se tvoj um osjeti lijenim, zbunjenim i nezainteresiranim, znači da je inertnost preuzela prevlast. Određeno stanje uma, osobito u vrijeme smrti, presudno je za tvoj slijedeći život. Uvijek se pokušaj pomaknuti do slijedeće više razine jer su posljedice tih različitih djelovanja jasne. Djelovanja uravnoteženosti imaju za posljedicu mudrost, čistoću i sreću. Strast uvijek donosi pohlepu, ljutnju i veliku bol. Inertno ponašanje vodi do neznanja i tupe tromosti. Ali, ljutnja i bol zavedenih, nemirom vođenih osoba mogu biti dar s neba, jer ništa ne pokreće čovjeka da ispravi način svoga ponašanja kao patnja koja uvijek prati djelovanja potaknuta željama. Patnja je vježbalište na kojem se oblikuje dobar karakter i ispravan način ponašanja (dharma). Život temeljen na Istini, uzdiže čovjeka do smirenosti što je obilježje uravnoteženog stanja. Oni koji nadvladaju osobine prirode u osnovi su promatrači, oni su iznad svjetovnog. Iako su stalno svjesni neizbježnog kruga rađanja, bolesti, senilnosti, patnje,...oni se uzdižu iznad svega i samo su svjedoci. Gune je moguće prevladati ustrajnim vježbanjem triju putova: potpuno posvećenje Bogu (bhaktiyoga), vjerno služenje Boga (karmayoga) i svjesnost Boga uvijek i svuda (jnanayoga).
