KSITIGARBHA BODDHISATVA

Earth Store Bodhisattva is known as Ti Tsang (or Di Zang) Bodhisattva in China, Ksitigarbha in Sanskrit, and Jizo Bosatsu in Japan. The name of this Bodhisattva means "the one who encompasses the earth". Earth means stillness, hardness, stability, vastness and versatility. It represents our mind which creates all dharma and accommodates all matters. It is the foundation on which everything grows, including the Buddhist Way. Store means deepness, profundity and subtleness. It represents the immeasurable treasures.

U intervjuu datom scenaristi Stanleyu Weiseru, stručnjak za borilačke veštine i zvijezda akcijskih filmova Stieven Seagal prekida svoju šutnju u vezi sa svojim dugogodišnjim prakticiranjem budizma i obraća se kritici njegovog nedavnog priznanja kao inkarniranog tibetanskog lame. Steven: Stvar za koju sam najviše zahvalan su učitelji koji su mi dozvolili da imam nešto malo znanja i mudrosti koji me sada drže u životu. Zahvalan sam za sposobnost koju imam na ekranu da donesem narodu sreću i radost, i za sposobnost koju ću imati u budućnosti da ga nadajmo se dovedem do staze kontemplacije. U terminima najgorih stvari, smatram da su moji najgori neprijatelji i moje najgore patnje moji najveći učitelji, tako da uvijek postoji druga strana tih negativnih sila.
