Dear Friend,
Today the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) released a new report on the science of climate change. The key takeaway: Scientists are now more certain than ever that climate change is real and is caused by human activities – mostly the use of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and gas.
As part of the IPCC’s process, hundreds of scientists from around the world evaluated the most up-to-date research on the physical science of climate change. This report is the world’s most comprehensive and authoritative assessment of the science of climate change.
Now it’s time for world leaders to listen to the science and to take responsible action to protect the air, land, and water we rely on.
That’s where you come in: You can help by visiting Climasphere.org to get informed about the issue and to speak out for action on climate change.
At Climasphere.org, you’ll be able to get the latest news on climate change, hear from experts, and share infographics and other materials with your friends and family.
It’s up to each of us to push for a strong and quick response to climate change. Our children and grandchildren deserve no less.
Thanks for your support,
