ŽIVKO PRODANOVIĆ
Rođen je 23. prosinca 1945. u Zagrebu. Diplomirao je hrvatski jezik na Pedagoškoj akademiji u Zagrebu, zaposlen je kao urednik u programu Radio Sljemena Hrvatskoga radija. Za svoj novinarski rad dobio je više nagrada i priznanja. Afirmirani je autor znanstvene fantastike te član Hrvatskoga društva pisaca.
Do sada je objavio ukupno pet knjiga: dva SF-romana, knjigu pripovijedaka
o sudbinama zagrebačkih Židova, dvojezičnu zbirku haikua Roboti u ratu/ Robots at War, Zagreb, 2005. i na slovenskom jeziku knjigu Hoja po prstih, Ljubljana 2007. Poeziju, kao i brojne SF-priče objavljuje u literarnim časopisima i zbornicima. Autor je šest radiodrama.Haiku zapisuje na hrvatskome standardu i kajkavskome dijalektu. Zastupljen je u mnogobrojnim periodičnim publikacijama i zbornicima u zemlji i svijetu.
Za svoje haikue primio je desetak nagrada i pohvala u zemlji i svijetu. Član je nekoliko udruga civilnoga društva.

Born on December 23rd 1945 in Zagreb. He graduated Croatian at the Pedagogical Academy in Zagreb, works as an editor on Croatian Radio, the programmes of Radio Sljeme. For his journalistic work he receaved several awards. He is a member of Croatian Writer’s Society. He is affirmed author in the field of science fiction.
He has published five books: two SF novels, a collection of short stories about Zagreb Jews, a billingual haiku collection Roboti u ratu/Robots at War, Zagreb, 2005 and a book Hoja po prstih, in Slovenian, Ljubljana, 2007. Poetry and SF stories he publishes in various literary journals and collections. He has written six radio dramas, as well.
His haiku has been represented in different publications and anthologies in Croatia and abroad. He has received about a dozen awards and prizes for his haiku in Croatia and abroad. He is a member of several cultural and art associations.
