ZDRAVKO KURNIK
Rođen 2. veljače 1937. godine u Travniku, Bosna i Hercegovina. Sveučilišni profesor, doktor matematičkih znanosti, preminuo u Zagrebu, 25.7.2010. Veći dio svoje nastavne djelatnosti posvetio metodičkom obrazovanju budućih učitelja i profesora matematike. Osim znanstvene i stručne djelatnosti bavio se i popularizacijom matematike te je do sada objavio nekoliko tisuća problema iz zabavne matematike. Enigmatikom, s povremenim prekidima, bavi se više od 50 godina. Posebno sastavlja matematičke zagonetke, bio je suradnik mnogih
enigmatskih listova. Objavio je oko 3000 zagonetaka, te objavio Rječnik anagrama u koautorstvu s Borisom Nazanskim i Antunom Koširom.Humorom i satirom, s povremenim prekidima, bavio se također skoro pola stoljeća. Omiljene su mu minijature aforizmi, epigrami, šale, humoristične pričice. Suradnja: Plavi vjesnik, Studentski list
, Jež, Večernji list, Slobodna Dalmacija (Pomet), Vjesnik, Marulić, Hrvatsko slovo, Matematika i škola, a tekstovi su mu izvođeni i na Radio Zagrebu (Veselo veče) te, Radio Beogradu (Veselo veče). Objavio je četiri knjige aforizama za koje je i nagrađivan. Također, bio je suradnik nekoliko televizijskih kvizova U kvizu Kviskoteka nekoliko godina bio je član žirija, a u početnoj seriji kviza Brojke i slova bio je kao član žirija zadužen za brojke.Posljednjih desetak godina intenzivnije se bavi haiku-pjesništvom, surađuje u časopisima Vrabac, Haiku, Marulić, objavljuje i u nekim stranim časopisima te je sveukupno objavio nekoliko stotina haikua. Na domaćim natječajima osvojio je 4 priznanja i nagrade, a na međunarodnim natječajima za haiku u Japanu osvojio je 8 priznanja i nagrada.
Urednik je u hrvatskom časopisu Haiku te član prosudbene komisije na natječaju za haiku-poeziju u Kloštar Ivaniću i Haiku Calendar/Rokovniku u Ludbregu.

Zdravko Kurnik was born on February 2nd 1937 in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina, died on 25.7.2010. in Zagreb.
A university professor, with a doctor’s degree in mathematical sciences, he had lived in Zagreb. Most of his teaching he had devoted to the methodical education of the young and future professors of mathematics. Beside his scientific and professional activities he had been engaged in the popularization of mathematics and had published several thousand problems from popular mathematics. For over 50 years, with periodic breaks, he had been engaged in enigmatics, creating enigmatical riddles. He had published over 3000 of them in many enigmatical journals in Croatia. In coauthorship with Boris Nazansky and Antun Košir he wrote Rječnik anagrama (Vocabulary of Anagrams).
He had been writing humorous and satirical texts for over half of century, with some breaks as well. His favourite were aphorisms, epigrams, jokes, humorous stories. He had been publishing in Plavi vjesnik, Studentski list, Jež, Večernji list, Slobodna Dalmacija (Pomet), Vjesnik, Marulić, Hrvatsko slovo, Matematika i škola and had his text broadcasted on Radio Zagreb (Merry Evening) and Radio Beograd (Merry Evening). He had published four books of aphorisms for which he received awards, as well. He paticipated in several TV quizzes and had been a member of the judging jury in the quizzes Kviskoteka and Brojke i slova (Numbers and Letters).
For the past ten years he had been engaged in haiku poetry more intensively, cooperated with journals Vrabac, Haiku and Marulić, published in haiku magazines abroad as well and had published several hundred haiku poems. At domestic competitions for haiku he had received four and at international contests for haiku in Japan eight awards and commendations. He had been the editor of the Croatian magazine Haiku and a member of the judging jury at haiku contests in Kloštar Ivanić and Haiku Calendar/Rokovnik, Ludbreg.

prvi otkos i pjesma

prvo je izašao
miris ljubičica.
