1. Ljetna kiša
Pod stabalcem jasmina
Jež u klupku
Summer rain
Under small jasmine tree-crown
Skein of hedgehog
2. Napušten brod
Privezao uspomene
Na zahrđalo sidro
The deserted ship
Tied the memories for
The rusty anchor
3. Na pustoj plaži
Poderane mreže
Krpe galebovi
On deserted shore
The gulls mending
A ripped up nets
4. U drhtaje vlati
Zaplela se zvonjava
Večernjeg zvona
Among fluttering grass blades
Entangled is the bell-ringing
Of the Angelus
5. Umoran od sna
Mjesec se jedva drži
Za vršak bora
Tired in its dream
The Moon hardly hodling
The top of the pine tree
6. I ljubičica
Od previše mirisa
Dobila vrtoglavicu
The violet, too
Having a dizziness -
Too much fragrance
7. Rumenom višnjom
Proljeće se okiti
Iza oba uha
Spring adorned
By crimson sour-cherries
behind both ears
8. Mjesec ožujak
Iza svakog grma
Rađa se život
March
Behind every bush
Brings forth life
9. Prozirna noć
U krošnjama jablana
Šapat zvijezda
Transparent night
Whispering stars
In poplar-tree crowns
10. Tuča je:
Nebo upriličilo
Teniski turnir
Hailstorm
The sky arranged
A tennis tournament
11. Mjesec zastao
Zaglavljen u srebrenoj
Mreži valova
The Moon halted
Stuck in a silver
Web of waves
12. Jesenja večer
Bat nepoznate sjene
Nestaje u magli
Autumn evening
Unknown shadow’s pounding
Disappearing in the fog
13. I sjenke sjele
Tražeći hladovinu
Pod starom lipom
Shadows set down as well
Looking for the shade
Under the old lime-tree
14. Leptiri mladosti
Iz vrta uspomena
Odlepršaše
Butterflies of youth
From the garden of memories
Flying away…
15. Sunčeva zraka
U čašici tulipana
Ispija rosu
A sunray
drinking the dew from
the tulip’s calyx
