SILVIJA BUTKOVIĆ
Rođena je 6. prosinca 1964. u Osijeku. Diplomirala na Višoj komercijalnoj školi u Slavonskom Brodu, živi i radi u Đakovu. Amaterski se bavi umjetničkom fotografijom, imala nekoliko skupnih i samostalnih izložbi fotografija i hajgi te je osvojila nekoliko nagrada u zemlji i svijetu. Objavljuje poeziju, kratke priče te haiku. Sudjeluje u radu mnogih književnih susreta te objavljuje u časopisima i
zbornicima u zemlji. Objavila je zbirku poezije Dotaknuta snom 2004. i haiku/ hajge Oslobođena kap/A Released Drop/La Goccia Assolta, 2007. godine u Đakovu. Njezine hajge osvajaju najviše bodova na natječajima WHA (www.worldhaiku.net/haiga) te je za svoj izuzetno kvalitetni rad dobila naslov Master of Haiga.Silvija Butković, M. Born on December 6th 1964. in Osijek. She graduated from Commercial School in Slavonski Brod, lives and works in Đakovo. Silvija is an amateur art photographer, held several common and independent photography and haiga exhibitions, received several prizes in Croatia and abroad. She publishes poetry, short stories and haiku. She takes part in literary meeetings of poets in Croatia, her poetry being published in haiku collections and literature journals.
So far she published a book of poetry Dotaknuta snom/Touched by the Dream in 2004 and a book with haiku/haigas Oslobođena kap/A Freed Drop, in English, Italian and Croatian, in Đakovo, 2007. Her haigas may be seen on www.worldhaiku.net/haiga, being highly prized, she has been given the title Master of Haiga.

Puddle by puddle
the old man treads
in worn-out shoes.
2. Pod starim mostom
huk sove preplašio
lutalicu.
Under the old bridge
an owl’s hoot startled
the wanderer.

nabujale rijeke
sjena oblaka.

of a mottled river
the shadow of a cloud.
4. Proljetno jutro.
U bojama vrta
nepočešljan tulipan.
Spring morning.
In the colours of the garden
an uncombed tulip.
5. Vlažno staklo,
uz rub kapi
zaustavljen prst.
A wet glass,
by the edge of the drops
a stopped finger.
6. U kišnom jutru
trenutak postojanja.
Oslobođena kap.
In the rainy morning
a moment of existence.

7. Prema pučini
na bijelim jedrima
putuje bura.
Towards the deep sea
on the white sails
travels the North Wind.
8. Mokre ulice
osušene osmijehom
jutarnjeg sunca.
Wet streets
dried by the smile
of the morning sunshine.
9. Jutros iznikla
iz sjemenke života
nada za sutra.
At dawn
from a seed sprouts up
tomorrow’s hope.

između crnih brazdi
slavonske zemlje.
