SILVA TRSTENJAK
Rođena je 31. prosinca 1967. u Ptuju. Po zanimanju je diplomirana ekonomistica, živi u selu Banfi iznad Štrigove.
Piše na hrvatskom i slovenskom jeziku te kajkavskom narječju, najviše poeziju haiku. Sudjeluje u radu ludbreških i kloštrasnkih haiku-susreta, Danu Dubravka Ivančana u Krapini, te objavljuje u Calendaru/rokovniku u Ludbregu i zborniku godišnjih ludbreških haiku-susreta. Primila je nekoliko nagrada za svoje haikue na hrvatskome književnom jeziku, kajkavskom narječju i slovenskom jeziku.

Born on December 31
st, 1967 in Ptuj. By vocation she is an economist, lives in Banfi near Štrigova. She writes in Croatian and Slovenian languages and Kajkavian Dialect, mostly haiku poetry, and has received several awards and commendations. She takes part in haiku meetings in Croatia and publishes in respective haiku miscellanies. She has received several prizes and commendments for her haiku in Croatia and Slovenia, on Croatian standard, Kajkavian Dialect and Slovenian language.

4. Laticama trešnje
vjetar pokriva
još toplo zgarište.
With cherry petals
the wind covers
the still warm site of the fire.

planinar pije
nebo.
From his palms
the mountaineer drinks
the sky.
6. Voda fest vre.
Med jajcimi skaoče
falaoček slame.
Boiling water.
Between the eggs jumps
a piece of straw.
7. Huk sove
s vreća za spavanje
stresa rosu.
Owl’s hooting
from the sleeping bags
it shakes the dew.
8. Svako jutro
iz slakova cvijeta
izlazi sunce.
Every morning
the sun rises from
the bindweed’s flower.
9. Još danima
prazna kutija za čaj
miriše na Božić.
Days later
an empty tea box
has the Christmas fragrance.
10. Uz radionu
po oštricama pila over
puzi slak.
By the workshop
the saws’ cutting edge
crawls the bindweed.
11. Opraštam se
od bijele kamelije
Prodali smo kuću.
