1. Čovjek i lastavica
popravljaju
istu kuću.
A man and a swallow
mending
the same house.
2. Duž rijeke sjene
ogledavaju se vrbe
u proljetnom jutru.
Shadows along the river
weeping willows mirroring
in the spring morning.
3. U crkvi
tišina molitve
nestaje u mom koraku.
In the church
the silence of prayer vanishes
in my footsteps.
4. U sjeni svjetiljke
jedan žuti list
igra se s vjetrom.
In the shade of a lamp
a yellow leaf plays
with the wind.

ostala u visini
zelenog jablana.
A ray of Sun
has remained at the height
of the green poplar.
6. Proljetni vjetar
u kapima kiše
miris jorgovana.
A spring wind
the smell of lilac
in the raindrops.
7. U zalasku sunca
proljetni pljusak ispire
mlado lišće breze.
In the sunset
the spring shower bathing
the young leaves of a birch tree.
8. Zlate se
i prazna strništa
na mjesečini.
Still golden
the empty stubble-fields
in the moonlight.
9. Čistač ulice
osmijehom maše metlom
za dobro jutro.
The streetsweeper
smiles waving with a broom
for the morning greeting.
10. Jedan oblutak
dva oblutka
nešto se miče
A peeble
two peebles
something is moving

istog trenutka
munja i zec
Lightning
and a hare have run by
at the same moment

To my neighbour
... visitors come more often than to me ...
Winter twilight

shadows of poplar trees
down the meadow

leptir se baci
na drugi miris

a butterfly throws itself
at another scent

u moru pleše s

in the sea swinding with
an anemone
