1. Proljetno jutro.
Puna rose, kornjača
ulazi u vrt.
Spring morning.
Covered with dew a turtle
enters the garden.
2. Buka u noći,
kombajn vrši kukuruz
više nije rat.
Noise in the night,
- a combine harvesting maize -
the war is over.
3. Danas je vjetar
donio miris bora:
more me zove.
The wind today
brought the fragrance of the pines:
a call from the sea.
4. Lokve na cesti,
hoće li danas itko
pasti u nebo?
Puddles in the street.
Is somebody going to fall
into the sky today?
5. Još malo
pa ću moći s balkona
dodirnuti bor.
In just a while
and I will touch the pine
from my balcony.
6. Na plaži sjedi
dječak. Zariva osmijeh
u krišku dinje.
A boy sits on the beach.
He sticks his smile
into a slice of melon.
