NADA TOPIĆ
Rođena je 11. svibnja 1977. godine u Splitu. Diplomirala 2001. godine na Filozofskom fakultetu u Zadru i stekla zvanje profesora hrvatskog jezika i književnosti. Živi i radi u Solinu kao knjižničarka u Gradskoj knjižnici Solin. Poeziju objavljuje u različitim hrvatskim glasilima, a prva zbirka pjesama pod naslovom Svetac u trajektnoj luci objavljena joj je 2005. u izdanju Doma Zvonimir u Solinu. Haiku piše već petnaestak godina, a veći dio joj je objavljen je u časopisu Vrabac/Sparrow, u zbornicima Samoborskih haiku-susreta te raznim izborima i antologijama. Članica je prosudbene komisije na natječaju za haiku učenika osnovnih škola u Kloštar Ivaniću.

Born on May 11th 1977 in Split. She graduated from the Arts Faculty Zadar in 2001 and has become a professor of Croatian and Literature. She lives and works in Solin as a librarian in the City Library. She publishes poetry in various literary magazines in Croatia and has published a collection of poetry under the title A Saint in the Ferry Port in 2005.She has been writing haiku for fifteen years and most of it has been published in the magazine
Vrabac/Sparrow, joint collections of annual haiku meetings in Samobor and several collections and anthologies. She is a judge on the contest for grammar school children haiku at Kloštar Ivanić haiku contest.
1. Što dulje gledam
sve je više zvijezda
na zimskom nebu
The longer I gaze
the more stars there are
in the wintry sky
2. Za ručkom
jedna muha
pravi mi društvo
At supper
a fly
keeps me company
3. Kroz sjenu bora
na trenutak ostadoh
bez svoje sjene
I’ve lost my shadow
in the one of the pine trees
for a while
4. Na kraju drvoreda
još jedan
u suprotnom smjeru
At the tree line’s end
another line
in the opposite direction
5. Rano proljeće
vrh Mosora propupao
snijegom
- Early spring -
the peak of Mosor
blossomed with snow
6. Jutros je
sve do grla
u magli!
This morning
up to the throat, everything
in the fog!
7. Čovjek i torba
čvrsto zakopčana
putovanja
- Man and the bag.
Tightly zipped
... journeys ...
8. Poslije kiše
kristalno jasan
dan
After the rain
a crystal clear
... day ...
9. Za stolom
gledaju se
prazne stolice
At the table
looking at one another
the empty chairs
10. U buri – stablo
šljive pruži mi
granu
In the North wind
a plum tree
offers me its hand
11. Drvo u punom
cvatu - jednim zubom
smije se starac
A tree in full
blossom - one-toothed

12. Vrapci - na stotine
svi mi stanu u srce
kad sniježi!
