MIRKO VIDOVIĆ
Rođen je 8. kolovoza 1928. u Krištanovcu pokraj Čakovca. U Zagrebu je završio pravni fakultet. Radio je na raznim poslovima u privredi, bio sudac za prekršaje te organ starateljstva, ali najdulje je, više od 36 godina, radio u pravosuđu kao odvjetnik u Grubišnome Polju i Daruvaru.
Do sada je objavio četiri romana, zajedničku zbirku poezije i dvije zbirke haikua;
Haiku poezija/Haiku Poetry, 1996 i Haiku poezija II/Haiku Poetry II, 2004. Haikui su mu tiskani u nekoliko antologija i prevođeni na engleski, japanski, slovenski ... Dobitnik je nekoliko prestižnih nagrada u Japanu na Ito-Enovim natječajima 1995, 1997, 1999. i 2003. godine, te 1998. novčane nagradu u Engleskoj (Museum Haiku Literature Award). Born on August 8
th 1928 in Krištanovac near Čakovec. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and worked at differenct jobs in Economy, was a Delict Judge, a tutor but the longest time he was inthe judicature as a lawyer,for over 36 years in Grubišno Polje and Daruvar.He has published four novels, a common poetry book and two haiku collections:
Haiku poezija/Haiku Poetry, 1996 and Haiku poezija II/Haiku Poetry II, 2004. His haiku have been published in several anthologies and translated into English, Japanese, Slovenian ... For his haiku he received prestigeous awards in Japan at Ito-En Haiku contest in the years 1995, 1997, 1999 and 2003 as well as an award in England (Museum Haiku Literature Award) in 1998. The town of Grubišno Polje awarded him with the Prize for his life deed in the year 2004.
