IVO MARKULIN
Rođen je 8. siječnja1948. u Zagrebu. Osim haikua, objavljuje poeziju uglavnom na kajkavskom narječju te
humoristične pjesme, surađuje s fašničkim listom Sraka, aktivan u radu ogranka Matice hrvatske u Samoboru.Sudjeluje u radu haiku-festivala i okupljanja haiđina u Samoboru. Haikui su mu tiskani u časopisu Vrabac/Sparrow
te zbornicima samoborskih, ludbreških, kloštranskih haiku-susreta i zbornicima Haiku-dana Dubravko Ivančan u Krapini. Za svoje haikue primio je nekoliko značajnih nagrada.***
Born on January 8th 1948 in Zagreb. Beside haiku, he publishes free-verse (mostly in the Kajkavian Dialect) and humorous poetry in the Carnival journal Sraka. He takes part in organizing the annual haiku festival in Samobor. His haiku have been published in Vrabac/Sparrow and joint haiku collections in Samobor, Ludbreg, Kloštar Ivanić and Krapina, on the Dubravko Ivančan Haiku Days. For his haiku he has received several prominent awards.
