TOMISLAV MARIJAN BILOSNIĆ
Rođen je 18. siječnja 1947. godine u Zemuniku, živi i djeluje u Zadru, član je Društva hrvatskih književnika, Zagreb, Društva hrvatskih haiku pjesnika, Zagreb, predsjednik Udruge
3000 godina Za dar. Književnik, pjesnik, feljtonist, putopisac, kritičar, novinar, slikar, fotograf. Do sada je objavio šezdesetak knjiga i upriličio četrdeset samostalnih izložaba, a pjesničke zbirke ili njihovi izbori prevedni su mu na 14 stranih jezika.Haiku objavljuje u raznim časopisima, zbornicima, novinama te dječjim časopisima. Njegovi haikui uvršteni su i u više domaćih i stranih antologija, zbornika i godišnjaka, a zastupljeni su i u školskom programu za peti i osmi razred osnovne škole. Međunarodnu popularnost stekao je svojim zbirkamahaikua
Planina i Velebit (hrvatsko-englesko izdanje).Charles Trumbull prikazao je
Planinu u svom uglednom časopisu Modern Haiku (br. 34.1, Lincoln, SAD, zima-proljeće 2003, str. 97), a Satoru Kanemacu izabrao je jedan haiku iz zbirke Velebit i uvrstio ga u svoju rubriku Three Haiku That Moved Me u japanskom časopisu Kō (Nagoya, Japan, jesen-zima 2004) uspoređujući ga sa starim japanskim haiku-majstorom Moritakeom s prijelaza 15. na 16. stoljeće. Japanska državna televizija snimila je 2003. godine dokumentarni film Stazama hrvatskoga haikua u kojem se govori i o Bilosnićevu haikuu.Vrijedno je istaći da je T. M. Bilosnić već kao afirmirani književnik među prvima u Hrvatskoj, nakon D. Ivančana iV. Devidéa, prihvatio haiku kao ravnopravni pjesnički izraz na hrvatskome jeziku u zapadnjačkoj kulturi, a V. Devidé prepoznao ga je kao «primjer za istinski haiku». Do sada je objavio sljedeće zbirke haikua:

Posljednja Bilosnićeva zbirka u cijelosti je prevedena na albanski jezik u autorstvu Kujtima Agalliua i objavljena 2007. godine u Elbasanu, Albanija.Bilosnić je surađivao i pisao u gotovo svim hrvatskim novinama, pokrenuo je i uređivao razne listove, novine i tjednike. Born on January 18th 1947 in Zemunik, lives and works in Zadar. He is a member of Association of Croatian Writers, Zagreb, the Association of Croatian Haiku Poets, Zagreb and the Association 3000 years for a gift (for a gift/za dar, city’s name of Za-dar, as well).The writer, poet, author of feuilletons and itineraries, reviewer, journalist and photographer, so far he has published about sixty books and had forty independent exhibitions. His poetry has been translated into 14 languages.
His haiku are published in literary journals, magazines and newspapers, children journals, schoolbooks for grammar schools for fifth and eight grade and has been selected for several anthologies in Croatia and abroad. He became internationally known for his haiku collections
Planina/The Mountain and Velebit. Charles Trumbull wrote a review about haiku collection Planina/The Mountain in his respectable haiku journal Modern Haiku (No. 34.1 Lincoln USA, Winter/Spring 2003, page 97). Satoru Kanematsu wrote about one haiku from the haiku collection Velebit in his column Three Haiku That Moved Me in the Japanese magazine Kō (Autumn/Winter 2004), comparing it with theJapanese author Moritake (15/16 century). Japanese State Television recorded a documentary film
Over the Paths of Croatian Haiku about Bilosnić’s haiku, in 2003.It should be emphasized that T. M. Bilosnić, as an already recognized writer, was among haiku among the first authors in Croatia, after Dubravko Ivančan and Vladimir Devidé, who accepted it as an equal poetic expression in Croatian in the Western Culture, and V. Devidé recognized his haiku as ‘an example of true haiku’. So far he has published seven haiku collections:
Zario ruku u srce (He plunged his hand into the heart, 1979), Potez mača (A stroke of the sword, 1984), Iž (Iž, 1986), Kalendar sna (The Dream Calendar, 1995), Čajni pribor (The tea set, 1995), Planina/Mountain (2002), Velebit (2004). Haiku Collection Velebit was translated into Albanian by Kujtim Agalliu and published in 2007 in Ebasan, Albania.T. M. B. has collaborated with and written for almost all the Croatian newspapers, founded and edited several journals, papers and weekly magazines. He was the editor of Haiku Library
