Ove fotografije, snimio je novozelandski planinar RODGER SHEPERD, koji je imao slobodan pristup, jer nije imao političkih konotacija. Putem svoje tvrtke "Hike Korea", proveo je tri mjeseca s njima.. Kako god, kada posmatram slike, zaista poželim da obrišem sve ratne karte i pustim narod da mirno odživi svoj život.. Nitko nema pravo žrtvovati živote nevinih ljudi, radi vlastitih interesa, bilo velike sile ili oni koji uzvraćaju udarce tim silama...
The sacred peak of Paektusan is the highest mountain on the peninsula and where the Baekdu Daegan ridge — known as the energy life-line of the Korean people — begins.
The main core of my team consisted of three members of the NZ- Korea Friendship society that helped me obtain permissions to go to these remote zones of the Baekdu Daegan Mountains.
